“Just promise me one thing… Don’t sleep with my brother.”
No problem, right? Accountant extraordinaire, Sophie Jones has spent the last decade trying to find a sense of normal. Life is looking deliciously peaceful, as she follows her best friend home to the small town of Foothills, Washington.
Back from the Navy, former SEAL Asher Sutherland is not the guy he used to be… although, he doesn’t have a clue who he is now. The one thing Asher knows for sure is that he wants Sophie.
Big problem. Asher has recklessly broken the hearts of his sister’s friends on too many occasions. Neither is willing to hurt Pippa. But, resisting the attraction may prove to be more challenging that either can withstand.
Settle in with a soothing cup of coffee and watch the sunrise in this tempting, steamy romance set in the Cascade Foothills in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.

So nice, gentle love story, I enjoyed reading every part. Sophie and Asher are a lovely couple, designed to be together. You can easily follow the way they fall in love, their understanding for problems they face, support for each other…
This small-town romance left me wanting reading it again.

I am a writer and a reader with a passion for romance novels. Since I first discovered fiction, devouring pieces by my favorite authors, starting with John Grisham, then Tom Clancy, and landed on Nora Roberts and Julie Garwood, I have created adventures in my head until it becomes too elaborate for my mental cloud and I can’t not put it down on paper… or my laptop.
Indecisive in my career choice initially, I racked up a rather diverse personal, academic, and professional background, which I draw on to create intriguing stories with relatable characters. Scientist, nurse, technical and creative writer, accountant, mom… why bother with regrets, when these crazy life experiences make us the truly unique individuals we are today?
My favorite pastime is curling up by the fire on a cold day with a steaming mug of hot coffee (or a glass of a crisp white wine) and a great book. When that’s not possible, I love travelling with my husband, our two amazing kids, and our goofy Labrador retriever. I’m a Pacific Northwesterner; as such the great outdoors have always called to me. Nothing is more satisfying on a beautiful day than trekking through the woods, boating on Puget Sound, playing in the ocean waves, or hiking the Olympics.
